When I read a fashion blog, I always picture the writer as a girl wearing succulent dresses and armfuls of sparkly bracelets.

I know my blog mainly revolves around fashion… but I would never be able to call myself a ‘fashion blogger’. That just sounds weird in my mind. Why? Because almost all my outfits consist of a pair of skinny jeans, a loose top, a pair of well-worn leather boots or converse, and maybe a watch or two. Also because my wardrobe is 90% black, grey, navy, and white.

I feel like most bloggers put together really awesome looks that, although beautiful, I would never wear. I just can’t see myself wearing that flouncy embroidered skirt or that huge furry vest. I admit that I really need to work on trying to wear a variety of different items of clothing… but for now, I’ll happily sustain on my skinnies and tees.

Having said all that… Today, I decided to create two extremely wearable outfits using my favorite colors – black and white (and grey) – and my favorite things – skinny jeans, converse, ID Bracelets, watches, safety pin earrings, and Zoe Karssen T-Shirts (they are the softest, most amazing shirts ever! Totally worth the price).

I think these outfits are a relatively realistic representation of what I would wear on the usual day. Notice the lack of interesting elements and accessories :) But I think there’s something refreshing about not piling on jewelry and wearing simple pieces… or maybe I’m using this as an excuse for the lack of attention I pay to my outfits hahaha.
