I know I haven’t been on my blog for a while and a few of you might be wondering what on Earth I’ve been doing.

Well, long story short, I went snowboarding with my friends for the past couple days.

I’ve been a huge fan of winter sports (I love watching the winter olympics) for quite a long time and I’ve been skiing since I was a toddler. About four years ago, I received a snowboard as a present. I went snowboarding once but couldn’t go again due to my hectic school/academy schedules.

I was finally able to have free time this winter and decided to plan a boarding trip with my friends. We all learned and had an amazing time! I absolutely loved it and will definitely be back soon. It only takes two hours by shuttle bus from where I live and since I have a season pass, it’s practically free. I’m hoping I can go on a lot of 1-2 day boarding trips before this season ends! Although I’m definitely not very good yet, I’m really excited to learn more and become better!

I love the sound of the edge of the board slicing against the snow, I love the feeling of confidence that I get when I’m able to board better, and… as weird as this sounds… I love how not being afraid to fall and bruise makes me feel somehow courageous…

Sadly, on this trip, I wasn’t able to take a lot of photos. I mainly just focused on boarding and having a good time with my friends. But next time I go, I will definitely try to take a few photos now and then. Until then, here are the two photos of my trip from my instagram.

Boarding at night is the best thing since sliced bread. No little kids and no need for sun protection ;)
