Dainty, Minimalist Rings

Back when I was a middle schooler living in California, cocktail rings were all the rage. Of course, there was a time when I wanted to follow this trend and purchased a huge ring from Betsey Johnson. I never wore it and it sadly disappeared one day…

I’m really not a huge ‘statement jewelry’ person. There are those days when I feel like wearing a chunky bracelet or necklace, but I usually stick to simple jewelry. I feel like having on heavy bling weighs me down. Plus, it feels uncomfortable – especially big rings that make your fingers feel funny.

I’ve always been attracted to very dainty rings so I’m really happy that the finger-bling-trend lately has been leaning towards the minimalist side. I know a lot of street fashion photography features people with twenty rings on each finger, but I think it’s also pretty to just wear a few or maybe even just one. So, I’ve created a collage of extremely simple and dainty (but still pretty) rings that could be worn everyday.

1. Sterling Silver Tribal Stacking Rings from Soft Gold Studio (I’m actually thinking about purchasing this soon! I need it!)

2. Dainty Ring with Amethyst and Dainty Ring with Moonstone from Carla Caruso

3. Willow Ring from Carla Caruso

4. Famous Letter Ring from Bittersweets NY

5. Knot Ring from Gabriela Artigas

6. Rose Love Knot Ring from Ariel Gordon

7. The Tiniest Pearl Ring from Satomi Kawakita

<I think investing in jewelry is a good idea. Cheap rings tend to tarnish really quickly (especially if you wear it daily) and sometimes even crack.>

Are you guys fans of the simple jewelry trend going on lately?

Here’s a song that I have been loving! I heard it on Songza and have been addicted ever since.
